Staff Spotlight: Our Housekeeping Department

Every week, dozens or hundreds of guests come to Harvey Cedars to grow in their relationship with Christ. After they go home refreshed and renewed, their rooms and meeting spaces need to be cleaned and spruced up for the next retreat. This is where a strong housekeeping department is needed!

Shannon Costello

As noted in a previous issue of Cross Currents, our former housekeeping supervisor, Barb Gathman, retired after 40 years of a job well-done in 2021. Since then, Angie Circle and Shannon Costello have taken the position. Angie has been part of the HCBC family serving in housekeeping for over ten years. Shannon is a newer addition to our team who has a competitive spirit on the pickleball court. They both love interacting with the many guests they serve and the youth staff they work with year-round.

Housekeeping at Harvey Cedars is more than just sweeping up sand and making hospital corners on beds; it's about bringing glory to God by working as a team and serving others. We're thankful to have Angie and Shannon on the HCBC team!
