Rev. Albert Oldham: 1927-2023

Rev. Al Oldham, longtime director of the conference, passed away early Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at age 95. Though we grieve the loss of such a beloved Christian leader, friend, and man of God, we rejoice that he is beholding the God he spent his life serving with unveiled eyes, free of all pain and earthly struggle. Please join us in praying for the Oldham family and those close to them as they grieve this loss.

Al began volunteering at Harvey Cedars Bible Conference at age 23 in the summer of 1949 and decided to live his life for Christ. He then served as director from 1951 until 1995. His wife and children have been heavily involved in all areas of the conference ministry, and his son, Jon, serves as director today.

The chapel building, now the Oldham Chapel, was dedicated to Al in honor of his life and work in summer 2017.
