Jerry Williams, Ministry Advancement
Jerry Williams recently took on a new role in Ministry Advancement at Harvey Cedars, though he is no stranger to our ministry. His relationship with HCBC began many years ago when his three children attended a youth event and experienced significant spiritual growth. A few years later, Jerry was encouraged by Gil Vining to join him on the Board of Trustees, a decision his family fully supported.
Before coming to work at Harvey Cedars, Jerry spent over 25 years at Schuylkill Valley Sporting Goods. He worked his way up and eventually became president of the company before transitioning to sales in 2020. He and his wife of 40 years, Carol, are deeply involved in their church community, with their children actively serving as youth leaders.
In his new position, Jerry spends a lot of time traveling and connecting with churches, Christians schools, and other organizations to share Harvey Cedars’ mission. He finds immense fulfillment in this role because it isn’t about profit but about lives changing for eternity. A highlight for him was during Gospel Camp when 91 people came to faith in Christ, a moment he describes as “truly exciting.” With his passion and dedication, Jerry Williams is ready to make a positive impact for the gospel at Harvey Cedars and beyond.
