A Wonderful Winter Chill!
This past weekend, January 10-12, we had the opportunity to host the third Winter Chill youth retreat! Like our youth weeks in the summertime, we partner with a variety of churches and youth pastors to make it a meaningful experience for those who attend. It’s been encouraging to us to see how the event has grown since it began in 2023—this year’s attendance was over 300 middle and high school students from 10 churches!
Winter Chill is an incredible three days of worship, biblical teaching, and fun. Featuring a study on Ephesians with Matthew McNutt from Brandywine Valley Church and uplifting music with the Drew Wagner band, we’re excited to see how Christ helps each of these students “level up” in their faith.
In addition to chapel sessions, small group discussion times, and prayer with and for each other, students also had a lot of fun participating in a dodgeball tournament, 9 Square, and other sports and games. We even got snow on the beach!
We’re thankful for God’s work and presence at Winter Chill! It is our prayer that it would lead each of the students who attend to come to know Christ or to grow in their relationship with him.
